Phase 1: Staff & Ministry Exposure
Theme: How ministry works in the day to day. Getting to know us.
Main Goals:
Understand Life Community’s vision and ministries through:
Attending Weekend Services
Staff Member Shadowing
Serving in Ministries (Primarily Children’s Ministry for Phase 1)
Attending LC 101
Reading through provided Replicate literature.
Main Ministry Focus:
PHASE 1 Children’s Ministry FOCUS
Serve in multiple children’s classrooms throughout Phase 1. Complete a Ministry Observation Report at the end of this Phase.
Understand Evan’s weekend role and how it overlaps with Children’s Ministry. You will begin to take over this role for the duration of the internship.
Staff Member Shadowing:
Over the course of Phase 1 we would like you to have a *one on one interview with each of the following staff members to understand what they do. Then, *schedule a time to shadow them on their “game day”. Game day refers to the moment in their staff ministry role where they are most active. With the exception of youth staff members this will usually be weekend services.
*The one on one meeting and shadowing are your responsibility to schedule with each following staff member.

Learn how Church staff functions as a leadership team.
Develop administrative and planning skills.
Main Ministry Focus:
Phase 2: Youth Group, New Process & New Ministry DEVELOPMENT
Attend Wednesday youth group and summer events. Complete Ministry Observation Report at the end of this Phase.
Designing a New Ministry Process (Newcomer Assimilation) and New Ministry (Marriage Ministry)
